TRIBE Phnom Penh, a vibrant new creative hub opens its doors

The new opening brings TRIBE’s design-driven hotel concept to Cambodia for the first time.

A new kind of hotel that offers not just accommodation but also acts as a social destination and collaborative space, TRIBE Phnom Penh Post Office Square aims to provide an affordable design-driven alternative for a new generation for travellers visiting Cambodia, as well as a vibrant new creative hub for the like-minded local community of entrepreneurs and adventurous travellers.

The common areas are designed as the focal point – dynamic living spaces are complemented by iconic design objects, contrasting colours, and surprising details that are selected with comfort and style in mind. Used to work, play and socialise, the spaces invite locals, entrepreneurs, and digital nomads to get their work done or plan their next excursion over a coffee or healthy bites from the 24-hour TRIBE EXPRESS.

TRIBE rooms come in six categories, with a focus on functionality, style and comfort. The 260 edgy rooms feature floor to ceiling windows allowing natural light to flow in. Highlight amenities include the TRIBE signature bed, sweat robes, garment steamers, and Nespresso coffee machines. All rooms come with hair care products by KEVIN.MURPHY, which are kind to the environment and to the hair.

A playground for urbanites, the rooftop of TRIBE Phnom Penh Post Office Square houses exciting culinary concept with stunning Phnom Penh views to take in. Curated international dishes will satisfy taste buds throughout the day and into the night at the vibrant and energetic HEMISPHERE. Whilst Mezcal Mad Memories 21, or MMM 21 for short, is set to become the city’s hotspot to sip signature Mezcal based beverages. The hotel is also home to The Workout Atelier and an outdoor saltwater pool, perfect for escaping the heat with a refreshing cocktail in hand.

Bordered by heritage buildings, the Mekong riverfront promenade, and the historic temple of Wat Phnom, the hotel offers a prime location in the Post Office Square District. From colonial architecture, local flavours, and Khmer cultural monuments, this up-and-coming neighbourhood has it all. At the centre of it all, TRIBE really is all about reshaping the traditional hotel experience with character – from the design inspiration and music selection to the choice of local coffee roasters, each element is meticulously curated.
