The Hoxton has landed in Dublin’s Creative Quarter, breathing new life into the former Central Hotel with 129 rooms, a lively lobby, Peruvian-inspired dining, natural wine bar, local landmark – The Library Bar, and a Hox first with nightlife at Groundwork.
Beyond the canopied entrance, guests encounter Dublin’s past, with Viking pits, medieval coins, and remnants of Dubh Linn thoughtfully on display. Sunlit skylights and an amber-toned stained-glass window lead to a lobby bar inspired by traditional Irish pubs, with oak, marble, and cozy booths. The lounge invites guests and locals to relax amid limewash walls, original artworks, layered textures, bespoke rugs, and a stone fireplace, creating a warm, eclectic, homey atmosphere.
Spread across four floors, the hotel’s 129 rooms follow the familiar Hox line-up—Snug, Cosy, Roomy, and Biggy. Warm, layered interiors nod to the Irish landscape and the building’s Victorian roots, with tactile textures, curated artwork, and thoughtful design details making each room feel unique and welcoming. Original features have been carefully preserved by AIME Studios to celebrate the property’s heritage.

The Hoxton, Dublin offers a vibrant mix of dining and drinking destinations. Cantina Valentina, the Peruvian-inspired ground-floor restaurant, serves bold, all-day flavours, from ceviche and marinated skewers to the signature Poco Picante margarita and rotating pisco sours in a playful, hand-crafted interior adorned with murals and South America-inspired artwork. Dollars brings a New York style deli by day and relaxed wine bar by night, pairing stacked sandwiches, small plates, and low intervention wines with a warm, industrial chic space overlooking Exchequer Street. The beloved Library Bar returns, restored with period charm, velvet sofas, book-lined nooks, and a marble fireplace, offering cosy drinks and exclusive hire for intimate gatherings. Hidden below street level, Groundwork, opening in early 2026, will be The Hoxton’s first nightlife venue, a 220-capacity space designed with industrial and brutalist elements for dancing, local music, and creative events—adding a lively new energy to Dublin’s nightlife.
Perfectly positioned in Dublin’s Creative Quarter, The Hoxton sits moments from the vibrant Drury Street and St. George’s Street Arcade, home to independent boutiques, vintage stores, artisan makers and a lively mix of cafés, wine bars and eateries.
