Round up: Ennismore’s Signings Announced in 2024

As 2024 comes to a close, we take a look at what’s to come in the world’s most exciting cities and to new destinations.

 

Here’s our round-up of some of the signings we’ve announced this year.

 

NEW CITIES

After a year of exciting openings in many new neighbourhoods, we’re proud to share that our brands are set to explore more new cities and countries. Set to make a stylish statement in Hungary for the first time, SO/ is bringing its style, avant-garde design and creative approach to the capital’s historic city centre. Featuring 350 rooms centred around the art of ‘getting dressed’, SO/ Budapest will create a stylish backdrop for travellers.

Making its entry into Romania, Mondrian Bucharest, located near the Romanian Athenaeum, will bring the brand’s oversized imagination to the city, artfully blending innovation and tradition to bring something entirely new to the scene for its debut in Eastern Europe.

The Hoxton’s homely spaces – perfect for lounging with friends, working through the day, or grabbing a bite to eat – will soon call two new neighbourhoods home. Celebrating its locality through art, design, retail and eclectic programming, The Hoxton, Melbourne Cremorne will mark the brand’s arrival in Australia and the APAC region, whilst The Hoxton, Oslo will bring the brand to Norway and the Nordic region for the first time.

In the United States, 21c Museum Hotels will introduce their largest gallery space to date. Dedicated to making art and culture accessible to all, art will be integrated into every aspect of the guest experience at 21c Museum Hotel Indianapolis when it opens its doors in 2028.

25hours Hotels and Working From_ are set to reinvent living in the Heart of Khobar, Saudi Arabia. Part of a new authentic, mixed-use development, 25hours Hotel Heart of Khobar will bring its individuality, quirkiness, and elaborate personality to 170 guestrooms and suites, while Working From_ will introduce new ways of working as it enters the Kingdom for the first time.

MAMA SHELTER’S GROWING

Known for creating spaces to live life to the full, Mama Shelter is bringing her sassy and flamboyant personality to four new destinations. Flying south and opening its doors in South Africa, Mama Shelter Cape Town will provide unparalleled access to the bustling city and introduce a new concept for the brand, Mama Play, an arcade space complete with bowling, karaoke, dedicated F&B and event spaces. The brand then brings its signature joie de vivre to Lake Como for an opening in 2026. Nestled into the dramatic landscapes at the foot of the Italian Alps, Mama Shelter Lake Como will be a haven for people of all ages with its irreverent style that doesn’t take itself too seriously.

It will be a social celebration when Mama lands in the Dutch capital in 2027. In the creative Noord district, Mama Shelter Amsterdam will embrace all its new neighbourhood’s quirks and eccentricities and bring a sense of occasion to the everyday. And finally, Mama Shelter is headed back to Paris for her fourth destination in the city of lights. Mama Shelter Val d’Europe, on the doorstep of the happiest place on earth, Euro Disney is set to be part of a mixed-use development opening in 2028.

 

BRANDED RESIDENCES

This year saw the signing of the first standalone branded residences for SLS in Spain, redefining living in Madrid. SLS Madrid Infantas Residences offers 33 lavish apartments in a historic building in the city’s cultural hub. Decorative detailing and ornate craftsmanship merge with the brand’s mischievous wit to create a playful ambience.

In Dubai, the inaugural Rixos standalone branded residences will be situated in a neighbourhood known for its blend of luxury living and community life. Rixos Financial Center Road Dubai Residences will boast 260 exceptional residences and an incredible array of dedicated residential amenities. Hyde will also bring its signature bohemian design and laidback ambience Dubai Hills with a fresh take on branded residences. Encapsulating the mood and feel of a festival, Hyde Residences Dubai Hills – first standalone residences for the brand – will be an escape from the city with 246 apartments. The property is also set to feature a ground floor restaurant, operated by Rikas Group.

 

IMMERSIVE RESORTS

Rixos’ luxury all-inclusive, all-exclusive experiences head to Southeast Asia for the first time. In one of Vietnam’s most breathtaking locations (Recently voted number two Best Islands in the World list for Travel+Leisure’s World’s Best Awards), Rixos Phu Quoc will offer its guests an unforgettable experience with exceptional design, engaging programming and 22 restaurants and bars, all within the stunning backdrop of breathtaking landscapes, sandy beaches and clear blue water.
