From exclusive high-end dining to local neighbourhood hotspots, culinary artistry remains at the heart of every new restaurant and bar in 2024.
Diverse and innovative, each opening from our three F&B Brand Houses, Paris Society, Rikas and Carte Blanched, delivers extraordinary experiences with soul. Here are some of our most exciting restaurant and bar openings of 2024:
Paris Society has pioneered the art of French hospitality with a sense of celebration, generosity, and audacity. This winning combination breathed new life into the historic Hôtel Salomon de Rothschild in the heart of Paris for the opening of Baronne. A tribute to the former mistress of the house, the restaurant blends history, design, dining, and festivity, offering a prestigious setting to showcase the best of French gastronomy from noon until well past midnight.
Bringing their signature French Art de Vivre to Dubai for the first time, Paris Society’s renowned Gigi and Maison Revka brands landed on the city’s sun-soaked sands in late 2024. After gracing the streets of Paris, basking in the sun-kissed beauty of Saint-Tropez, and finding solace in the snowy embrace of Val d’Isère, La Dolce Vita spirit comes to life at Gigi Dubai with a lush garden, private pool, and standout aperitivo menu on J1 Beach. And on Bluewaters Island, Maison Revka Dubai brings the elegance and refinement of Slavic gastronomy to Delano Dubai. Reimagining its storied legacy, it transforms into a dazzling cathedral of colour and stained glass, blending tradition with exuberance.
Also in Dubai, Rikas’ homegrown collection of award-winning destinations introduced several new iconic venues. Ninive Beach, Dubai’s first lively Middle East and North Africa-inspired beach club, offers a beautiful setting for abundant meals with friends and family with cuisine inspired by the flavours of Lebanon, Iraq, Turkey, and Morocco. The expansive indoor/outdoor haven is designed with Arab artistry and modern luxury, and guests can relax and unwind on the chic sunbeds or in the cabanas surrounding the Moroccan-inspired swimming pool.
Carte Blanched is renowned for creating the concepts behind some of our most beloved neighbourhood hotspots. Their carefully curated and expertly executed restaurants and bars have the power to make hotels the hub of a community and an unforgettable destination for both international and local guests. In Vienna’s 3rd district, Cayo Coco, a Cuban-inspired cocktail bar bringing big tropical energy with supersized rum cocktails and captivating views over the city, and Bouvier, a relaxed, all-day modern bistro inspired by the chic drinking and dining establishments in Paris and New York, have already become firm favourites with the neighbourhood.
Over in Bodrum, Carte Blanched developed restaurants and bars helped bring the festival vibes to a new Hyde. From poolside daytime hangouts to evening celebrations, Bungalow blends the cosmopolitan flavours of the Aegean coast with textures and techniques from around the world. Inspired by the iconic Parisian Bistro, La Rebelle is a fun and stylish restaurant that celebrates the food and flavours of the French Riviera with a rebellious twist. Hyde Beach Club is the heart of the hotel beating all day with live music, DJ sets, and performances that bring the festival feeling to life.
Drawing on the eclectic history and emerging creative scene surrounding Hyde London City, two new restaurant and bar destinations shook things up in the city. Leydi brings the vibrant flavours and all-day dining culture of Istanbul into the heart of London with a contemporary Turkish eatery that’s already seen rave reviews since opening in September. As the night descends, vinyls and good vibes at underground cocktail bar and listening room, Black Lacquer – a nod to the brand’s origins on the LA club scene – are a must.
Elevating the all-inclusive dining experience is no small feat. But the opening of SLS Playa Mujeres—the brand’s first all-inclusive experience—marked the Mexican debut of marquee Mediterranean-inspired dining destinations: Fi’lia, which celebrates a genuine approach to Italian cuisine, using recipes and traditions passed on from generations of women, and Cleo, which takes a sophisticated approach to Mediterranean-meets-Middle Eastern cuisine, creating a simple and flavourful menu with a convivial, shared plates ethos.
