25 AUGUST 2026

Mondrian Cancún, All-Inclusive has officially opened, marking the brand’s first all-inclusive resort.

Set between the Caribbean Sea and Nichupté Lagoon, the resort brings together contemporary design, destination dining, entertainment, wellness and cultural programming, alongside Mondrian’s first Branded Residences development in Mexico.

Comprising 400 guest rooms, 328 branded residences, and located at Grand Island, just 15 minutes from Cancún International Airport, Mondrian Cancún looks beyond the destination’s famous shoreline to reveal a more contemporary side of Cancún, shaped by design, culture and unexpected discovery.

A New Take on All-Inclusive

As Mondrian’s first all-inclusive resort, Mondrian Cancún brings the brand’s spirit of discovery to the all-inclusive experience, giving guests the freedom to shape each day around their own pace. Every stay includes accommodation, dining and beverages, entertainment, fitness, programming and recreation. Guests can move from relaxed mornings and wellness sessions to afternoons by the pool, DJ sets and late-night entertainment. Three distinctive pools create different experiences across the resort, including two overlooking Nichupté Lagoon and The Observatory, an adults-only rooftop pool with panoramic views across Cancún.

Wellness is woven throughout the stay with a 24-hour fitness studio, daily movement classes and mindful programming, while access to Bungalow Beach Club brings guests directly to the white sands and turquoise waters of the Mexican Caribbean.

For an elevated experience, Mondrian+ offers additional privileges including dedicated butler service, private check-in, access to the adults-only rooftop pool, preferred seating at Bungalow Beach Club and an enhanced beverage programme.

Design Inspired

Inspired by its setting, Mondrian Cancún has been designed around openness, natural light and a strong connection to the surrounding landscape.  The high-rise tower rises between the Caribbean Sea and Nichupté Lagoon, with architecture designed to maximise panoramic views and create a seamless transition between indoors and out.  Across the guestrooms and suites, clean architectural lines, soft neutral tones, tactile textures and refined finishes allow the landscape to take centre stage.  Private terraces and balconies extend the experience outdoors, with sweeping views across either the sea or lagoon.

Destination Dining, & social Happenings

Food and drink sit at the centre of the Mondrian Cancún experience, with 10 restaurants and six bars taking guests from morning coffee and leisurely lunches through to sunset drinks and late-night dining. At Cuyo, the flavours of Mexico’s Yucatán Coast come to life through fresh seafood, wood-fire cooking, agave-led cocktails and Mexican wines. Niko brings contemporary Japanese cuisine and premium sushi to an elevated setting above the resort, while Allegra Rooftop & Bar, exclusive to Mondrian+ guests, transitions from daytime lounging into a lively after-dark destination. Just minutes away via complimentary shuttle, Bungalow Beach Club offers a beachfront setting for fresh sushi, sharing plates and tropical cocktails on Cancún’s iconic shoreline.  Together, the collection reflects Mondrian’s global approach to food and drink while drawing inspiration from the flavours and energy of the Mexican Caribbean.

Mondrian Branded Residences Cancún

The opening also marks another milestone for Mondrian with the arrival of the brand’s first residential development in Mexico.  Set along the shores of Nichupté Lagoon, Mondrian Residences Cancún comprises 328 one-, two- and three-bedroom residences, combining private ownership with the services, amenities and lifestyle of the Mondrian brand. With contemporary design, lagoon views and access to one of Mexico’s most established resort destinations, the residences introduce a new way to experience Mondrian in Cancún – not just for a stay, but as a place to call home.
