Perched above the blue waters of the Aegean, Bodrum has become one of the Mediterranean’s most compelling lifestyle destinations.
Attracting an international community drawn to its distinctive blend of natural beauty, design, gastronomy, culture, and nightlife. With an established luxury hospitality scene and enduring global appeal, the destination represents a natural next step for Mondrian as the brand continues to grow across the world’s leading cultural and resort destinations.
Bringing the brand’s distinctive approach to design and culture to Türkiye for the first time, Mondrian Bodrum will transform the existing resort into an adults-only escape overlooking the Aegean. Featuring 108 keys, including suites and villas, the resort will be reimagined by AIME Studios, Ennismore’s in-house creative studio, drawing inspiration from the Turkish coast’s rich cultural heritage and natural beauty. Expressive interiors, immersive art and thoughtfully curated spaces will reflect Mondrian’s signature dream-like aesthetic, creating an experience that connects guests with the destination.
Making the most of its waterfront setting, the resort will feature an expansive swimming pool overlooking the Aegean, with sun-drenched terraces and a reimagined beach club extending towards the sea. A private pier and water sports will complete the coastal experience, creating an inviting setting for long days by the water, from laid-back afternoons to lively social gatherings. Wellness will form an integral part of the experience, with approximately 400 sqm dedicated to movement, recovery and relaxation. The spa will feature treatment rooms, a traditional hammam and sauna, alongside a gym and dedicated movement studio.
Five distinct dining and nightlife destinations will offer a collection of experiences from day to night. Paris Society’s Mimi Kakushi, designed by Pirajean Lees, will bring its signature Japanese dining experience to the resort, spanning two levels with a dedicated sushi counter and its award-winning cocktail bar on the lower level, while Kyma Beach Club will introduce Greek-inspired cuisine in an elevated waterfront setting. SIPS will offer an intimate cocktail destination for late-night drinks, while House of Ruins will serve as the resort’s social hub, bringing together an all-day dining restaurant, lounge and cocktail bar alongside dedicated spaces for private dining, art, events and cultural programming. Completing the collection, Paris Society Consulting will reimagine Aloha Bakery, bringing a fresh perspective to the existing French bakery concept.
Louis Abi Abboud, Group Chief Growth Officer and Chief Operating Officer of IMEAT & APAC of Ennismore, said: “The signing of Mondrian Bodrum marks an exciting milestone in the brand’s continued international growth, strengthening our presence across Europe and the Mediterranean while introducing Mondrian to Türkiye for the first time. Bodrum has become one of the region’s most compelling lifestyle destinations, attracting a creative, culturally curious international audience that makes it a natural fit for the brand. With its extraordinary Aegean setting, bold approach to design and ambitious collection of restaurants, bars and social spaces, Mondrian Bodrum will bring a distinctive new hospitality experience to this dynamic market.”
Nurçe Erben, Chairwoman of Cactus Group, said: “As a third-generation member of our family-run business, I am proud to build on our heritage while shaping a new chapter for our portfolio. With Mondrian Bodrum, we are bringing together Mondrian, Mimi Kakushi and Kyma to create a lifestyle destination where hospitality, dining, culture and social experiences come together throughout the day. This vision is a natural evolution of what we began with Ruins Bodrum, a social club inspired by the vernacular architecture and natural surroundings of ancient cities. It reflects our ambition to continue creating distinctive experiences that resonate with both our local community and international guests.”
Mondrian Bodrum comes to life under the leadership of Servotel, connecting Cactus Group with Ennismore and the partners behind Mimi Kakushi and Kyma. The project marks another first for Servotel, introducing Türkiye’s first Mondrian and Mimi Kakushi and enriching Bodrum’s luxury lifestyle offering.
Robin Kestek, Partner and Chief Business Strategy Officer at Servotel, said: “Building on Servotel’s longstanding hospitality legacy, we are proud to have brought Cactus Group and Ennismore together to realise this vision. Mondrian Bodrum brings an exciting new dimension to the destination’s luxury lifestyle offering: a thoughtfully curated setting where wellbeing, entertainment and art come together, drawing guests and the wider local community into the distinctive social rhythm of Bodrum from day into evening.”
Mondrian Bodrum will further strengthen the brand’s growing presence across Europe and the Mediterranean, joining an established portfolio of destinations including Cannes, Bordeaux and Ibiza. The signing marks another milestone in Mondrian’s global expansion, building on its presence in some of the world’s most dynamic cultural destinations, from Singapore, Seoul and Hong Kong to Los Angeles, Miami, Mexico City, Doha and the Gold Coast, as the brand continues to bring its distinctive approach to art, design and culture to new destinations around the world.
