SO/ Sotogrande Spa & Golf Resort is going all-inclusive

SO/ Sotogrande has unveiled the next chapter in its evolution, emerging as an exciting new all-inclusive resort to create a luxury haven of escapism and entertainment.

Set in an exclusive enclave overlooking the Mediterranean Sea, SO/ Sotogrande Spa & Golf Resort has fast become a firm favourite with locals and international travellers alike thanks to its distinctive design and cultural programming informed by fashion, art, gastronomy, and golf. Taking its commitment to bringing an entirely unique hospitality experience to Andalusia one step further, SO/ Sotogrande’s reimagining of the traditional all-inclusive model is rooted in the foundation that all aspects of a guest’s stay, from food and drink to activities and entertainment, are included in the price of the booking – a key differentiator from others in the market.

The new vision for SO/ Sotogrande has been realised in partnership with the team behind the new digital platform ALL Inclusive Collection from Ennismore. Launched in September 2023, ALLInclusive-Collection.com brings together over 30 resorts which challenge the historical perception of all-inclusive by creating a premium experience with exceptional and varied culinary destinations and high-quality entertainment.

Guests at SO/ Sotogrande can expect an all-inclusive experience of high-end abundance with a culinary journey inspired by Andalusian flavours and cultures; from reimagined regional classics at Cortijo Santa Maria 1962 to innovative small plates and cocktails at IXO Tapas & Bar. Morning coffee served with breath-taking sunrise views awaits at Society Club House and the Rocío Sainz-designed gardens offer plenty of serene, shady spots to quaff sundowners, while grill restaurant Marxa Chiringuito is the go-to-spot for chilled-out suppers under the stars.

Each day, guests can participate in a variety of programmes curated for kids, teens and adults covering spa, sport, and of course world-class golf at the hotel’s spectacular 27-hole course designed by legendary golfer Manuel Piñero. A dedicated kids’ club encourages younger guests to have their own adventure to learn and explore at no additional cost, giving parents the flexibility to indulge in their own time. And where better to indulge than the 3,000 m2 Spa and Wellness Club Sotogrande, which features eight treatment rooms alongside a Hammam, Turkish Bath, indoor pool overlooking the sea and surrounding lush gardens and offers restorative treatments including cryotherapy, flotation, and physiotherapy.

Set across the width of the luxury resort, SO/ Sotogrande’s 152 rooms and suites have been arranged to resemble a typical Andalusian village set in between the vast, fragrant gardens. Each guestroom is elegant and warm, reflecting the revitalised Cortijo style that informs the aesthetic of the resort. Bespoke art pieces and ceramics by the likes of La Navà, Cumella, Itziar Guzmán López de Lamadrid and José F. Rios are set against traditional architectural details and a sun-bleached palette of sand and ochre, while the inimitable style of Spanish fashion designer Dolores Cortés can be found in every corner of the hotel.
