Opening as the newest addition to Morgans Originals, Ennismore’s collection of one-of-a-kind independent hotels, Luura marks the brand’s debut in Greece.
Luura, a new Mediterranean hospitality brand, has officially opened its inaugural hotel on the island of Paros. The adults-only (12+) seafront retreat features 39 spacious suites, including 19 with private pools, alongside a private chapel, two restaurants, a holistic wellness offering and dedicated event spaces for weddings and exclusive buyouts.
Rooted in culture, craftsmanship and a strong sense of place, Luura is designed to reflect the character of each destination it calls home. Its debut on Paros draws inspiration from the island’s artistic heritage and contemporary creative spirit, marking the beginning of the brand’s Mediterranean expansion.
Design, Art, and Experience
With architecture by Elastic Architects and interiors by Lambs and Lions studio, Luura draws on the timeless purity of Cycladic architecture, with iconic whitewashed buildings arranged as a village-like constellation across the landscape.
The Khoury family have integrated their appreciation for art and craftsmanship into every element of the guest experience. Working closely with an independent advisor, the curatorial narrative of the property is inspired by a dialogue between international and local artistic practices, reflecting both the heritage and evolving cultural identity of Paros. Highlights include works from celebrated Italian contemporary artist Francesco Clemente, figurative French artist Claire Tabouret and sculptor Judith Hopf, painter Chantal Joffe, Matthew Darbyshire, and Tschabalala Self, alongside Greek and regional artists such as Sofia Mitsola, Kostas Paniaras, and Vasilis Papageorgiou.

Award-winning Culinary Concepts
Dining at Luura is led by the internationally acclaimed Mimi Kakushi, the contemporary Japanese restaurant inspired by the vibrant energy of 1920s Osaka. Celebrated for its refined blend of Japanese tradition and Western influences, the concept has earned global recognition, including a place in the Michelin Guide, #36 on The World’s 50 Best Bars and #35 on MENA’s 50 Best Restaurants 2026.
The hotel is also home to Lenea, Luura’s contemporary Mediterranean restaurant, where seasonal, ingredient-led dishes and creative cocktails celebrate the flavours, traditions and culture of the destination. Designed as an evolving concept, Lenea will adapt to each Luura property while remaining rooted in a shared philosophy of connection, locality and relaxed Mediterranean dining.
Island Wellness
Wellness at Luura is designed as a natural rhythm rather than a routine, inspired by the pace and energy of Paros. Blending movement, recovery and personalised treatments, the experience includes a dedicated wellbeing studio, sauna, cold plunge, bespoke massages, facials and body therapies, complemented by essential oil blends crafted from native Greek botanicals. Daily programming encourages guests to reconnect through breathwork, movement and restorative practices, while locally inspired rituals and wellness experiences extend beyond the spa, creating a holistic approach rooted in the island’s culture, nature and sense of balance.
Guests are invited to discover Paros through a curated programme of authentic local experiences, from ceramics workshops with renowned artisan Maria Economides to private boat excursions, fishing trips, diving, windsurfing and trail running across the island’s spectacular landscapes. These experiences are designed to foster a deeper connection with the destination, its culture and its creative community.
Founded by Vivium, the family office of entrepreneur and art patron Elie Khoury, Luura represents a new generation of Mediterranean hospitality where culture, design and a strong sense of place shape every stay. Looking ahead, the brand will continue its expansion with a second Paros property at New Golden Beach, opening in 2028, followed by Luura Athens in the vibrant Koukaki district overlooking the Acropolis.
