The new 79-room TRIBE hotel in the city of Belo Horizonte, Brazil will open in the first half of 2023.
TRIBE is a design-driven experience brand, focusing on the things that really matter, giving guests everything they need and nothing they don’t.
Opening in the Brazilian city of Belo Horizonte, the new TRIBE hotel will occupy a building that previously belonged to the Government of the State of Minas Gerais, located in Praça da Liberdade, a historic place in the heart of the capital of Minas Gerais. Located in front of an iconic building by Oscar Niemeyer, TRIBE Belo Horizonte is on the corner of Rua Baiana, a sought-after address in the city, opposite the Minas Tênis Clube, a popular area for leisure and business.
TRIBE Belo Horizonte will open with 79 rooms and suites, a restaurant, lounge bar and rooftop, meeting rooms, a fitness center and leisure areas. The hotel’s design bears the signature of Focus Arquitetura, with interior design by Beth Nejm, a well-known Minas Gerais designer for her bold and contemporary projects.
The TRIBE brand was created in response to one simple fact: today, more than ever, travelers seek a high-quality hotel experience at an affordable price. TRIBE aims to surprise travelers with an original, exciting, and carefully curated offer that focuses on style rather than price. TRIBE is reshaping the traditional hotel experience, allowing guests to live, work and play in contemporary surroundings.
With the first hotel opening in Australia in 2019, TRIBE has plans to open hotels worldwide, aimed at a new generation of travelers looking for refined and affordable experiences. TRIBE has a strong pipeline with over 50 hotels, including emblematic locations such as Paris, Amsterdam, London, Bali, Phnom Penh.
