The Hoxton hits the slopes with the debut of Hox Chalet
Debuting in March, The Hoxton will see out ski season in the snow-capped peaks of Morzine in the French Alps.
Taking its adventurous spirit on the road again, The Hoxton takes over a luxury chalet in Morzine, complete with its own private chef on hand to whip up breakfasts and dinners inspired by The Hox’s global foodie footprint. Thoughtfully curated touchpoints from check-in to check-out make sure it’s a trip to remember, including the scent of fresh pastries in the morning, premium spirits brand GREY GOOSE serving up the après and a barrel sauna for steamy nights under the stars.
Located bang in the middle of Morzine, France, 1000m up in the world-famous ski region of Portes du Soleil, Hox Chalet is a three-level luxury mountain lodge run in partnership with Treeline Chalets. Defining the space are by inimitable Hox-from-home touches such as blank toiletries in the bathroom, bespoke Hox bedding on comfy king-size beds, Roberts radios, a shiny new Alpine edition of the famous Hox neighbourhood guide filled with insider tips and expert guides of the best pistes for all abilities, local snacks, and care packages full of treats to take home.
With space for up to 12 to spread out across six en-suite bedrooms, guests can indulge in midnight snacks from the fully-stocked open-plan kitchen and refresh body and soul in front of the log burner in the cosy lounge. A dedicated private chef will be on hand to conjure up hearty post-piste fare, inspired by beloved Hox menu classics from each of the hotels, while digestifs come courtesy of the GREY GOOSE Vodka cocktail bar. To top of the stay, guest can also experience the wine cave, a steaming hot tub overlooking the valley or a plunge pool, buried in the snow, to ease those achy muscles.
Over the course of a stay, guest might have the opportunity to sample a Bloody Mary at breakfast, an après martini cocktail, or a hot toddy in the hot tub. Along with making sure there are delicious drinks available, the Hox team will be equipping them with the knowledge to make their new favourite tipple at home, with the odd evening mixology session and handy cocktail.
Hox Chalet will take place in March/April 2023, kicking off a bumper year for the brand, with a string of exciting European openings in Brussels, Amsterdam, Edinburgh, Berlin and Vienna.
