Round up: Celebrating our wins

Creating brands with meaning and purpose at their heart is at the core of what we do, and we’re always aiming to make long-lasting connections with our guests.

We’re thrilled our brands and properties have resonated so deeply with guests and experts alike. Today, we share just some of the awards and accolades our brands, hotels, and teams have won in 2024.

Kicking things off with the Forbes Travel Guide Star Awards – the guide that’s on a mission to verify luxury – seven Ennismore properties were recognised, with Gleneagles, Mondrian Doha, and SO/ Berlin Das Stue receiving Four-Stars and SO/ Bangkok, SLS Cancun and SLS Beverly Hills for their exceptional commitment to service.

Voted for by the readers of the publication, Travel+Leisure’s annual World’s Best List is one of the industry’s most trusted rankings and this year, we were thrilled to find 25hours Bikini Berlin in at #3 Best Hotel in Berlin, 21c Chicago, the #9 Best Hotel in Chicago and SLS South Beach as #15 Best Resort in Greater Miami.

The Leaders in Hospitality Awards applauds the relentless pursuit of perfection and celebrates the artistry of hospitality. Always on a mission to create unforgettable experiences for their guests, we’re proud to say Rixos Hotels won the Leading Hotel Group category.

Every gourmand looks to the renowned Michelin Guide for its ratings of the world’s best restaurants. Expertly vetted and scrutinised, the guide highlights the crème de la crème based on design, architecture, service and personality. This year’s inspectors have found Carna by Dario Cecchini at Mondrian Hong Kong is “too good to keep a secret”, revealing it amongst the first set of new additions to the MICHELIN Guide, Hong Kong & Macau 2025.

This year also saw the launch of the Michelin Key system by the Michelin Guide. While the Michelin Star Guide recognises the most outstanding restaurants, the Michelin Key does the same for the most outstanding hotels. For its inaugural list, we were honoured to find that Gleneagles was awarded the prestigious Three Michelin Keys. Six other Ennismore hotels, Maison Delano Paris, The Hoxton, Rome, Habitas Bacarlar, Habitas San Miguel de Allende, SO/ Bangkok, and Gleneagles Townhouse, were awarded one Michelin Key.

Organised by Sleeper Magazine, the AHEAD is the leading awards for Hospitality Experience and Design. Across the regions, Ennismore’s hotels, restaurants, and bars took home four awards, including Best Hotel Renovation for Mondrian Hong Kong, Best Suite for Mondrian Singapore, Best Restaurant for Carna by Dario Cecchini, Hong Kong, and Best Event Space for The Hoxton, Vienna (designed by our very own AIME Studios). In addition to the regional award, the AHEAD 100 showcases the best new hotels in the world. This year, we’re proud to find SO/ Maldives, Mondrian Hong Kong, Mondrian Singapore, 21c Museum Hotel St. Louis, SO/ Uptown Dubai, 25hours Hotel Copenhagen Paper Island, Hyde Bodrum, Mondrian Ibiza and The Hoxton, Vienna on that list.

The annual World’s 50 Best Bars provides an annual ranking of bars as voted for by 700 drinks experts from across the globe and celebrates the best of the international drinks industry. This year, Mimi Kakushi by Rikas comes in at No. 40 with the 50 Best team highlighting, “Dubai does high-concept venues better than most and the Japanese restaurant-bar Mimi Kakushi is no exception,” adding, “Mimi Kakushi is imbued with the rhythm of the West and the taste – in food, drinks and décor – of the East”.

And finally, the Rikas team truly outdid themselves at The Caterer Middle East Awards, taking home six wins, including, Hospitality Company of the Year for Rikas Group, Independent Restaurant Team of the Year in the Fine Dining category for Mimi Kakushi, Restaurateur of the Year in the Fine Dining & Fine Casual category for the group’s founder, and Pastry Chef of the Year, Sous Chef of the Year and Cashier of the Year for members of the team.

For these accolades and many others we have yet to list, we thank our Ennismore teams for their hard work and dedication. We are honoured to work with some of the industry’s best—we wouldn’t be Ennismore without you!
