North America’s first JO&JOE to open in Tulum, Mexico
The new destination in the Mayan Riviera will open at the end of 2024.
Known for its laid-back, bohemian spirit, Tulum, with its many historic, hippy-chic establishments is the perfect new home for JO&JOE. Always bring people together through its nurturing, likeminded and free-spirited community, JO&JOE celebrates creative expression and sports. The brand’s new destination in the Mayan Riviera is conveniently located on Avenue Coba Sur, with sun-kissed Tulum beach and its many water sport and outdoor activities, and Downtown Tulum offering a plethora restaurants, nightclubs and live music venues are only a short distance way.
A hybrid hospitality concept, JO&JOE combines the very best of traditional hotels with the features and friendliness of a youth hostel. Offering 300 beds with approximately 84 guest rooms, including 45 private room, 30 small dorms, 9 large dorms and a handful of suites, JO&JOE is more stylish and comfier than traditional youth hostels. Featuring affordable F&B and a range of events guided by cheerful staff, yet easier on the wallet than conventional hotels, this hotel is the first of its kind in Tulum. Other amenities will include a bar, restaurant, open kitchen, guest laundry room, locker room and a 50 sq. m. meeting room catering for the wide-ranging guest mix.
Part of a mix-use community development, JO&JOE Tulum is set to become a destination for travellers visiting the Mayan Riviera with an energic mix of 12 retail outlets carefully selected for the location and a rooftop bar right on its door step.
JO&JOE is being developed in partnership with Soda Urbana, a Mexican company with more than 12 years of experience in investment, development, marketing, and management of real estate projects. JO&JOE’s current destinations include Hossegor, Paris, Vienna, Medellín and Rio.
